Hello! We’re Jim and Lizzie Friend. We love Crossfit and Paleo, and we really love talking about Crossfit and Paleo. It was incredibly difficult to resist making a pun off of our last name in the title of this blog, but we spared you, because we’d prefer that you not immediately hate us. You’re welcome.

We created this blog to give us a place to share recipes, workouts, links, and other things that spark our interest; to give us an opportunity to connect with others out there who share those interests; and to give us somewhere to channel all this Crossfit- and Paleo-related enthusiasm so our friends and family can take a much-needed (and explicitly begged for) break. We learned most of what we know about this stuff from books, articles and other blogs, and now that we’re starting to get the hang of it we wanted to join the conversation. If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to email us. We’re always happy (read: super pumped) to hear from you.

And now for the disclaimer: We’re not doctors, nurses, nutritionists, certified Crossfit trainers (yet!), trained chefs or even above-average cooks. Everything we post here is solely based on our own opinions or knowledge we’ve gained through research (online or otherwise) and should be taken as such. If we use a questionable cooking technique or say something you think is incorrect, let us know. This blog is a constant work in progress, and we’d love to improve it, with your help.
